im in no need to know what these are or in need to fix them but ive been wondering what they are or what goes there, any help is greatly appreciated! just theres nothing about these on the changes on EA82 topic, and if there is, theres no picture for me to know it was or what it used to be. all of these are from a GL wagon, except for the cruise control that comes from a Loyale. ive attached 6 pictures, 1. first one is inbetween the foglight and steering wheel, no its not some future add on of ABS before subaru pulled the plug on the EA82 when the EJ series was introduced, i know it says ABS on the back of it but it also says ABS on the front grill, so its not ABS and ive looked at numerous GL-10's and non have the option or whatever goes there. 2. the next one is those clips that hold the headliner up, some wagons have an extra clip on the side of the middle back one, some dont, i broke mine when i was trying to fish the wire for the hatch light i added. 3. the next one is next to the tail lights, is this the switch to tell me if the hatch is open or closed? there on both sides, mine has never told me that the hatch is open in the dash lights, until i found a parts car and that one does. 4. the next one is of the cover that goes between the pedals and the rat nest of wires, some vehicles have them and some dont, did they all come with it and just not bother putting them back on? also the front skid plate, did they all come with it but on the first oil change they never put it back on? 5. next one is cruise control, why does the Loyale's cruise control look so ancient? i thought they came with the button that goes below the defroster on the left of the dash? 6. last one is of the seat belts, drivers side has this thing that wraps around to stop the seat belt while the other has a button, im guessing its been changed before, but whats the difference? or why? thanks for your opinions and help, just things ive been wondering about. (some images may be upside down, sorry about that, im on my phone)

I'd like to get some of these knockouts on my 85 GL Wagon dash filled in, to make it look more complete or 'loaded'. Plus, I am having zero success with my weber choke (had it apart, tried everything) ...so if you guys can help me out with what goes where, and what it looks like, please...all those blanks kind of bug me. Anyone got a pic of the most loaded dash? The Subaru 'correct' manual choke handle? any other options that are missing/blocked? I will have to live with the stack of empties on the gauge housing, since I won't have air suspension, and my cruise is the dealer type -although 'dummy buttons' (or rocket launchers)-might go in to fill it up. If I know what I'm looking for, it will be much easier to find, or request in the wanted section. TIA

I have been trying to figure out how to adjust the following features in my Impreza, without having to go to the dealer. The owner's manual says I must go to the dealer to change the following settings: Dome light timer: off/short/normal/long, alarm system start delay time after door closure: 0 Sec.-30Sec., dome light on/off while alarm activated, Defrost auto-off after 15Mins or continuous, on/off, Battery drainage protection, on/off, wiper deicer 15Mins. or continuous operation. If anybody has some insight or answers to this question please let me know. Thanks, Brett

I was at a junk yard and found a factory auxiliary light switch on an EA82. Apparently it (switch) fills the slot to the lower left of the steering wheel. I've never seen that before. The front clip of the car was gone, so I couldn't see what it would have went to. Does anyone have a picture of a factory optioned fog light/aux light/driving light on an EA82?

So I just recently raised my Legacy onto Outback Suspension and put 27' General Grabber AT2's on her. I've noticed a HUGE loss of power, which I expected. With a tired out EJ22 I know its time for an engine swap in the short future. My question is, What are my options? I dont want a EJ25 because of the common HG problems. Would a 3.0 out of an H6 Outback work? I'm open to just about anything, but I wanna try to keep it subaru.

I have a 2000 Outback with just about every option available at the time that is without an engine that is strictly a parts vehicle that I picked up for cheap, and I have a 2001 Legacy L sedan as a daily driver. What I was wondering is that could I take everything off the Outback and put it on my Legacy sedan? Now I know Subaru's are good with running all the wiring and provisions for the options even though they did not come with the car so that all you need is the component, the switch and the fuse or relay. But I would just like to confirm this with some things such as the rear view mirror with the built in compass the heated side view mirrors the AM/FM/tape/6 CD changer/and weather band radio the left and right upper door tweeter speakers Another question is that I would also like to lift my legacy with the outback struts. What all would I need to swap to do this? obviously the struts, but also I heard of swapping the rear control arms off the Outback on to whatever you are putting the on for camber and after that I really don't know. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Luke
