My plan is to remove the windshield on my 1985 Brat, repair the rust around the edges, and then have the a new windshield replaced professionally. I have a new gasket! How do I remove the old one?

I've got an idea I want to investigate, but was wondering if anyone had any experience removing the bumper skin from the early EA82 front or rear bumpers. There are brackets bolted in the corners little clips on the skin that match up to cutouts on the bumper frame, but I would need 12 arms to compress all the clips at once. My only EA82 FSM is for the 1987 model year, so not helpful on the early bumpers. Thanks! -
I plan to run some wiring for a dash cam. I would like to run it under the headliner of my 1984 GL wagon. Any advice or instructions on how to remove the headliner? It seems to be styrofoam, with a thin vinyl color layer. Is it glued in place? mkoch

I recently picked up some XT mirrors for an upcoming project and I'd like to repaint them. I'm thinking it would be simpler if I could disassemble the mirrors. Is there a simple way to get the mirror glass off the side-view mirror assembly? Can the mirror be disassembled to remove the rubber bellows at the folding joint?

Trying to remove interior hatch cover to get at wiring. Everything on lower edge released BUT, the interior inset handle. Prying the trim down I can see two yellow plastic through clips, or whatever, but nothing will budge. How do I get that stubborn %#*~# off without tearing the surrounding plastic up? Stuck and stumped.
