    I have an opportunity to possibly strip whatever I want from a 1985 2WD Subaru GL. Some few things will fit, obviously, but I am wondering what all might bolt-up that I might not consider. Aside from engine, wheels, etc. what can cross over? need a Carb and seats really bad, so I hope those will fit. but what about any of the interior, like the carpet, door panels, etc.? would guess that some of the other items under the hood might work, such as alternator, fuel pump (Yes, I know some subarus have that tucked back by the rear wheels), waterpump? I presume that the dash will not work at all, either for fit or for electrical hook-ups, although I would love to if I could. I also presume that the front end parts, such as the grill, headlights, etc will also not fit/bolt-up. - am I wrong??? I will have to know by this coming Wednesday, the 23rd, as that is when I will be able to do the stripping, so I may post this in more than one forum, because I really need to know, and I really need to know now. Thanks.
