heeeeeey. i’ve been lurking the forums since buying the murder machine in 2017 & getting so much info from y’all thought i’d finally post some photos. 1986 gl wagon, ea81 swap with weber conversion, 4 inch sjr lift. 6 lug conversion currently running 215/75/15. all the interior lights have been deleted, & the cooling fan is on a toggle - i live in leadville so it’s usually cool enuf. straight exhaust to annoy the neighbors. just installed the steel front bumper & winch!

ive picked up a project recently that i had given up on for a while. The things that have stumped me about this 4" lift that i got from SJR was how i was gonna extend the steering column and shifter linkage. i heard that you may be able to take a steering column from a legacy, but if this is true i don't know what years i could take one out of for it to work. 1984 gl hatch EA81 1.8L no power steering

Hi there Subaru lovers of all kind lol. I have had my Subaru since I was about 2 years of age. It has stayed in the family for years. I would like to put an sjr lift in it but I know you have to do some fabrications and such. I was wondering if there was a professional shop that could install the kit properly or anyone that would like to do it on the side. I would like to see past work of course. This car is very sentimental to me. It's an 1989 GL with the high low gear box. I'm currently putting my rebuilt ea motor in it as we speak. If anyone can help me out I've been searching for a long time. My dad also has one that needs to be fixed. I think he has the 4 inch lift in it now.

Hey all. I have been asking around on some forms about the SJR lifts. They seem great. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how much/long this would usually take a experienced mechanic? I am aware they some parts need to be modified and of course it would be different for each person. Anyone have any insight on this? Thank you!

I am currently swapping an ej22 out of a 1992 legacy into my 1990 Loyale. Everything is done except the wiring. i got my harness from SJR, i currently have the 3 yellow wires labeled hot in run and start and hot at all times wired directly to the battery (Just temporarily). the black and red wire labeled fuel pump is wired to the blue and white wire from the old fuel pump relay ( the fuel pump was working but its not anymore) the alternator is wired up to the original wires from the vehicle. (The charge light was flashing while cranking but its not anymore) the wires labeled starter, trans, coolant, fan. radiator, select monitor, oil pressure, ac, check engine, and tach are not currently connected to anything my question is with this current setup is there a way to get it started it currently cranks over fine and the fuel pump was pumping but there is no spark im a little lost at why there is no spark and what happened to the fuel pump i know grounding could be an issue but i don't really know where to start, does the ecu need to be grounded and if so how also i don't know if there is a minimum voltage the battery needs to get everything going it currently has 12.36 volts i have read through several other peoples threads including numbchux, but im running out of things to try, the engine ran fine right before we pulled in out of the donor vehicle i suck at electrical so any help is greatly appreciated thanks

I am trying to install a 2 inch sjr body lift on ea81 wagon and I have a few questions. First, do I need to install new longer custom brake lines with this size of lift? Also, there was no bracket included to drop the rear diff, do I need one if it's only 2 inches? And lastly, where do these pieces go, are they used to drop the trans/T-case? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ea82. 2" lift for sale or trade. I bought this lift from a Subaru mechanic thinking that I would be getting an EA82. I then came across a really nice ea81. I'll sell the lift for $200 Or trade for an ea81 lift or a set of 14"pugs. I live in Olympia WA and would prefer not to ship
