Hello, I am trying to hook up a 4 pin trailer light kit to my 93 Subaru legacy. I have Probed out: Break light Turn indicator ( both sides) and Running lights. The questions I have ( and have searched for) are : -The 4 pin setup lists the break and turn signals as the same single connection, but when I probe the plugs to the tail lights, The brake light and the turn signal wires are not on together for either function. How would one go about wiring this ? ( right now I have it wired for running lights and turn signals) -Is there a wiring harness somewhere further back I should be tapping into vs right at the tail lights ? The Wiring kit I have simply says : " Wiring guide Green wire to right turn / stop Yellow wire to left turn / stop Brown wire to tail lights White Ground" Thanks for any help with the issue directly or being pointed to a thread video or image I was not aware of,

Hello all: Looking at a 1995 Subaru AWD on craigslist that needs some love. Super cheap since it needs a head gasket. I own a tow dolly (how I brought home current 1995 FWD). I know I can't tow an AWD on a tow dolly, but I just saw a thread on another website that said the following.... on the older stuff (90's) there's a capped fuseholder in a harness along the firewall on the passenger side of the vehicle. The cap on the fuseholder is labeled FWD. (black holder, white letters, from what I recall) Open the cap, and pop in a fuse, and you're in front wheel drive mode. I don't know what rating of fuse you need, though. Is this true on the 1995? Could I then drag it home on a dolly? Thanks as always for the help. Tom

Hey guys, a buddy of mine needs to get his truck out of West Virginia after it broke down on our last snowboarding trip. My question is, can my 08 Limited, with the towing package handle towing his 07 Toyota Tundra? We are considering using a dolly where his rear wheels are on pavement and front two on the dolly. His truck is approximately 5000 lbs give or take a few hundred. Has anyone had any experience with this? Don't want to stress the vehicle too much going over some mountain passes and a 300 mile trip back to eastern Virginia. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hi All, New here to USMB, have been seeking a true all purpose vehicle for my needs and thinking the Baja may fit the bill. Would be pulling it behind a 25' RV and need the ability for light hauling (bicycles or small scooter like Vespa) and still have the ability to top load a kayak or two. Hoping someone can inform me of the aspects on towing AWD vehicles, manual vs. automatic transmission (for towing purposes), turbo or not? Comfortable? They seem to be few and far between, any particular reason? Thanks so much - make your day a GREAT one!

We hope to travel across country from Virginia to Oregon in the fall. We would like to be able to use our Legacy to carry some stuff, including bikes and to have a travel trailer of some sort to make camping easy. Is it realistic to think we can haul all this?
