  1. Wipers on my 1988 subaru GL at times do nothing, but work most of the time. If you turn the car off, and turn the key to the 'on' position (so has power and headlights can be turned on) the wipers work, but then when you start the car, they may or may not work. A side point that may just confuse the issue is that the radio is also affected the same as the wipers at the same time, but not always. The fuse has been checked and is fine. Any ideas? 12/13/2016 Found a fix to this issue. When they stop working jiggle the keys, like you are trying (but not too hard) to turn the car on or off. That fixes it every time. don't know root cause of problem, but don't really have time to ook into it. Thanks everyone who tried to help!
  2. So.. Ea82-- GL .. My blades are swinging to far. I know the newer model there's a plate you lift up and replace the little plastic elbows. On my 87 I don't see what to do.. Could some one Yoda me? please... May the force be with you. Always.
  3. My passenger side blade works fine, drivers side moves a little, goes up just a little bit. 2003 Subaru legacy AWD
  4. [Didn't know where to place this - sorry if in wrong place - didn't see an accessories forum]. After picking up a pair of windshield wipers on special sale at Costco for $3 and seeing how badly they performed, any recommendations for quality wipers and a good source for them? I've used Bosch in the past with good results. Just wondering if there is anything better and any better values out there.
