BigAl
Well, this just showed up at the shop behind my office a few hours ago. Don't know any history on it, but judging from the steering column it was a theft recovery. And judging by the wasp nest in the tail pipe, the motor is done and its been sitting for awhile. So the sad news is, it's very complete and unmolested but it is going to the crusher at the end of the day. The one bit of good news is they are going to let me pick off it before it leaves. Really is a shame though, because aside from the steering column damage, its a damn clean, rust free car. Sorry the pic sucks, quick cell phone shot. It's a GL-10 I would be pickin parts for you guys if i had more time, but the owner insists it won't be here more than a day or two at most. bheinen74
why is this a need to crush car? get the wheels........Dude would have fun with this one.
BigAl
Not sure unfortunately. The owner isn't the friendlest or most talkative guy, so I couldn't get alot of info out of him. And yah, god willing I will grab those wheels off of it. The tires are toast, but the wheels have no damage on them whatsoever, just dirty. If my budget allowed right now, I would just buy the shell and throw in the EJ22 I have sittin at home. But it's also an auto and I really dont wanna mess with a tranny swap Edited September 16, 2009 by BigAl

Greenley
Nabbing the rear discs is a no-brainer.
BigAl
Good call on the discs, strangely that hadn't even crossed my mind. Thanks
BigAl
So I went and talked to the shop owner over lunch. It had been sitting at his buddies shop for a long time and the landlord made him clear off the excess cars, so this one got sent away. No one knows if it runs. All they know is it has no title, and no one there cares enough to part it. So I have to be quick on scooping up what I can.
BigAl
And on the last sad note of the day, snuck outside a minute ago to talk to the guys about pulling the roof rack, rear discs and wheels, and it was already gone. Such a waste of good parts
