The Beast I Drive
Checking Pm's... Ill be making some strut blocks this weekend to pass the time while I wait for Earl to come up... 4" for EA82? Or EA81? I keep forgetting which one it is... Also, anyone else interested in camber correct, 1/4 thick steel, strut blocks, please let me know ASAP and I will try to get them all done this weekend, just let me know if they are for EA71/EA81, or EA82. They will be $40 a pair no matter what size. Thanks, and sorry RAugur, Ive been dragging my feet on this really bad and Im sorry if I've irritated or frustrated you in any way... -Bill
RAugur33
I need the 4" strut blocks for an EA81. Your blocks correct for camber, right? I am definitely irritated and frustrated, but it has nothing to do with you:grin:

On the EA82's there is more clearance in the strut towers and hammering is not required... -Bill
michael appel
what degree does it have to be for the ea
The Beast I Drive
what degree does it have to be for the ea 82 Depends on what kind of lift you have. If you have the struts and crossmembers lifted the same amount, you need 12-23 degrees, but if you go 1-2" higher on the struts, you need 15-16 degrees or so. -Bill

So, how much hammering needs to be done on the EA81? Were you able to make a set this weekend?
The Beast I Drive
I was able to get started, but we had a major equipment failure (read: Burned to the ground) at work.... So I had to tend to that -Bill
michael appel
4 inch on the ea82 what is the degree angle or could I lengthen the arm on the bottom
The Beast I Drive
If you have 4" strut blocks and 4" crossmember blocks, then you should do anout 12 degrees. Its easier than lengthening the control arms... -Bill
