backcountrycrui
OK, So the three speed in my 1990 loyale is still working OK but the 4wd solenoid is still down. I have monkeyed with it for as long as I want to. The options are, at least the way I see it, do a 5spd dr tranny swap with pieces or buy a donor car and swap it that way. For pieces Im guessing that I need a new flywheel, pressure plate, clutch, tranny, rear drive shaft, clutch pedal and cable. Are they hydrolic? or mechanical clutches? What years can I choose from? Is there a price that I can expect to pay for the pieces. Alternately I could look for a complete non running car. Again what years can I select from. Im thinking that it would be easier to use a donnor car but more expensive perhaps. Monney is short having been on fulough from the RailRoad since January.
