Dickensheets
I picked up a block heater for my "new" 2007 Forrester. I haven't put it in yet, it's too cold out lol! Question: From the top looking down it looks like I may have to drop the exhaust manifold a tiny bit. Can anyone confirm or deny this? valvestem
Here's a link to help I hope, I gues it depends on model/year on the exhaust manifold: http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f85/block-heater-27749/ scroll down for the message with the PDF's attached. porcupine73
Not sure on that setup if you need to drop the xhast manifold. I did install one of these heaters on my '96 and it was pretty easy. Hardest part was getting the plug out. It took a 14mm hex thing. I used an impact wrench and beat it out. goes in here-> Edited October 19, 2009 by porcupine73
