Where is the PCV valve on the EZ30?

Recommended Posts

I have noticed some oil in the intake box by the throttle body and figure it could be caused by a plugged pcv valve. I have no idea where and how many valves there are on this engine. Any body have a picture of where they are?

Thanks in advance. Oh and another thing not related. I need a TPS for a 01 Outback Beener edition if any one knows where I can score a used one.

What's the part number on the side of the sensor? I may have one taat will work, and if not I can get one for ~ $15.

Thanks! the wife will be quite happy if you can find one. I will go and check tomorrow for that part number. I will send you a PM when I do.

drivers side under the washer reservoir on top of the valve cover body.

if subaru sent me the right valve, it's smaller than EA/EJ vehicles of the past 20 years.

NAPA gave me the wrong PCV valve when I tried to change mine, and the wrong one was too small. No idea what it was for, it looked right, was just too small.

The stocker is a stout metal unit, and cleaned up fine with carb cleaner.

Last time I went to the local Napa up here the guys behind the counter tried telling me that my car was only available with the 2.5 and my car had an engine swap done to get the H6 lol. That store has since closed. I will give my pcv a good cleaning before buying a new one. Thanks for the info.
