Rob Stercraw
Got a '91 2WD Loyale 4 door with 53K on it - already replaced the front struts as one of the originals was blown. The rear sits considerably lower than the front, even before the new front struts. The accord front spring mod appears to lift the crap out of 4WD. What will they do to my 2WD sedan? What about running wagon springs? It's getting hard to find these in the yards around here and when I do find them, it's almost always a 4wd wagon. Help a noob get his butt off the ground, PLEASE! The Beast I Drive
Check to make sure you have 2wd rear struts, someone may have replaced them with 4wd ones at one point. The 2wd struts are about 2" longer than the 4wd ones... Otherwise I would suggest trying some wagon springs or RX springs... -Bill
Rob Stercraw
That definitely is a possibility (that it has 4WD struts on it). It does sit about 2" lower than the front. The difference between the 2/4WD is the distance between the lower mount hole and the lower spring seat, correct? So I should be able to measure it without taking everything apart...
