1-3-2-4
I was going to replace the front and 2nd converter on my legacy wagon would I notice anything other then not having a leak from the 2nd cat anymore?
Fairtax4me
Depending on where you get the parts from, you'll either have to replace it again in two years, or you won't have to mess with it at all for a long time, if ever again. You might notice a small improvement in fuel mileage and upper rpm power.
1-3-2-4
what do you mean about depending on where I get it? It's a bosal part.
Fairtax4me
If you get an OE part from a dealer then it will likely last the rest of the life of the car. If you get an after market part from some place online then it might only last a few years and be plugged.

johnceggleston
any benefits to having a new cat converter? none what so ever unless your cats are bad. I was going to replace the front and 2nd converter on my legacy wagon would I notice anything other then not having a leak from the 2nd cat anymore? you would notice a smaller bank account. go to a muffler shop and see if they can patch it. what is and where is the leak.???????????
