quartus
Are exhaust manifold (& turbo) metal gaskets used "dry" or is there some kind of sealant to put on them for an EA82T?

idosubaru
always dry. subaru ones are far higher quality than aftermarkets. they are one of the easiest gaskets to reuse too (if the gasket is in good shape obviously) they hold up very well if they weren't leaking prior. quartus
Dry it is! I thought so but wanted to be sure. The leaky front exhaust pipe has been replaced, I can drive with the windows rolled up again without CO poisoning
