Caramanos2000
When it rains I get water showering my feet coming from the pedal area. Its a 87 GL Wagon. You good folks have any ideas?
TheLoyale
Hmm, could the bottem of the windsheild seal be leaking and running under the dash and hitting your feet area? That or the firewall some how leaks? :-\ -Tom
kelsomcgath
I've had leaks now on both of my subarus when i first buy them... both coming from the windshield.. both leaked down to the floor. Check all around the windshield, hopefully that's all it is.. easy fix. -kelsey
crazily
also check the outside where the windscreen is next to the wipers, it might be leaking through there.
andrewmiller
nothing a little silicone on the windshield wont fix
Caramanos2000
also check the outside where the windscreen is next to the wipers, it might be leaking through there. I checked this area, no dirt no nothing not even rust... The windshield is the likely culprit as the rubber seal is starting to buldge outwards. TheLoyale
Well if thats the case, just get some clear all weather Silicone, pull out the rubber a little, pump some into the crevus and push the rubber back in (Wipe away exccess) -Tom
torxxx
look at the spot where ur drivers side wiper bolts down. There is a pocket there with a lil rubber plug in the bottom of the pocket. I dont know why they put these there but I've lost both of them in my car and when ever it rain my wiring harness would be soaking wet. Clean it up real good, spray it off with brake clean (the green can - non chlorinated) and then fill the hole with The right stuff, or RTV. I prefer the right stuff because RTV doesnt harden up
