Just had to share that this 7 dollar part was hands down the best part I've ever put on my EA81!!!

Car warms up faster and doesn't run nearly as rough when its cold out!

Carb heater hose = win. I finally kind of understand why they run coolant lines through the TB's on EFI cars now.

Hey,

I looked all over a couple years ago, wound up finding only one at Advanced Auto. It was two inch I think, but whatever. It was one size too big still.

If I need another:

Good for cold climates. Never needed one here.

Actually that is done on carbs and throttle bodies and is done both to keep the carb from iceing up and for emissions purposes. A warm intake atomizes fuel better and reduces unburned hydrocarbons. Bad for performance though - cold air is denser.
