vedder37
So I live in Oregon and drive a 98 outback and right now it is freezing rain, I need studs. I found some 14 inch wheels with studs for 75 and wondering if they will fit? I cannot find a definite answer other than I don't think so. Anyone know for sure? I know they are small and not as cool but I promise I will only use them when I absolutely have too. LOL. My wife and kid commute to work and baby sitters 35 miles away and I'm willing to sacrifice cool for their safety.
98obster
you found 14" with 5 X100 bolt pattern?. they are probably steel but I'm thinking they won't clear the brake calipers.
Scott in Bellingham
I tried 14" soobie wheels on a 96 Legacy would not fit, hit calipers
idosubaru
14" rims will not fit an OBW due to the brake calipers. you can swap to single pot front calipers to run the smaller wheels i'm in the same boat - i have dual pot WRX calipers to put on my XT6 but i've still got a good set of 14" wheels with snow tires so i'm waiting to wear those out another season or two first.
