corvette6698512
Cool. You should get a set of weber IDF's or dellorto DRLA's for it. Oh, and thats a type 3 engine, not a bug engine Edited December 18, 2009 by corvette6698512

jbbvw
That's awesome Scott. Can't wait to see how this works. Those ICTs can be hard to get working good if they are worn though. I love the DRLAs I have on my Bug and my Baja, they work great. I've always wanted to put some IDFs or DRLAs on a Subaru. Keep up the good work Scott. Gloyale
oh I mean the stock EA82 disty or maybe some of you electronic wizards can tell me how to run them coil packs without the disty just use the sensors on the crank and cam and somehow make them coils spark without the computer Modify EA82 sensor wheel and pickup iinto the Escort disty shaft? Or cut all but 4 opposing ears of of the crank timing belt gear, and mount the pickup from the EA82 disty where the crank sensor mounts. (it's possible that wouldn't be nessecary, in that hte stock sensor may be a capable trigger already) Or run it off the Cam Sensor, either way, but...... Adjusting timing.....???????
