esteveW
I'm somewhat familiar with lifts, as they applied to my sons Yota. He had a chassy lift while others had a body lift, etc. I'm not going off road (intentionally) and just need enough lift to allow the transplant of an EJ22 and 5 spd D/R into my 79 Brat. I'm thinking this may involve transplanting some different struts, etc.. or let's keep it simple!! Steve
Scott in Bellingham
Blocks placed between all suspension parts and body, so you could call it a body lift, will drop the engine crossmember for more engine room SJR
esteveW
Thanks Scott. However the SJR kit is outside my budget. Not to try and knock-off SJR, I'd prefer to build my own since I have a full machine shop, weld and fab. for a living, pre-retirement. Just looking at the manor and experience of other DIY lifts. I might spring for one of their ej bell housing adptor plates. However, I can handle the flywheel mod. Thanks Steve
