that's pretty sweet. but you don't want to move the front wheels forward at all? i was thinking if you're doing a divorced t-case than the front xmember should get moved forward a bunch to make for a reasonable approach angle.

Maybe, but I think the radiator should be relocated and the front chopped too.

This thing will be light and powerful with an EJ in it.

Pretty much like an EA81 hatch with an EJ22 in it. That would be super fast. I love the tiny rear end. Front end needs tube fenders and it would look sweet!! Keep it up mang!!

My PC is on the fritz so I havent been on line, but thats a stock wheelbase with 6" lift and some 30" tires , if we run the Toyota rearend with the 4.10 gears we could run 31" tires in the rear and 29.48 tires on the front with the stock 3.9 , sorry no T-case no needed with the EJ with Delta Cams and the weight loss program :banana::eek:

That front can get a lot shorter if you move the radiator over the engine where the spare tire would sit. I've got an impreza hood scoop you can have to draw air down onto it.

Great idea! If we decide to go that route, I'll be headed down to portland in a week. Think a slim fan would mount to the underside? The other option Scott came up with is to raise the rad. and support. That would not shorten it, but improve the approach angle.
