ShawnW
Vac line from the AT modulator valve, where is it supposed to go?
GoldDiggerRoo
I just replaced mine 2 weeks ago in my '83. My memory is a little fuzzy on it, but I think mine went to some sort of a "T" and then off to the carb. I coulb be wrong, but it's raining it's butt off now... I'm not gonna go check. Today is a great day to see if I have any holes in the floorboard of my subie, oh yeah... lotsa mud too. I love it!
calebz
I think any vacuum port on the manifold should work...
CIS Subaru
Yes, any straight manifold vacuum will do. I don't know if it really matters, but my 3spd has a special vacuum line connecting it to the manifold. It looks normal on the outside, but if you look into the end it is very small inside. I think it acts as some sort of bottleneck to limit sudden airflow. It may also just be a spring liner to keep the hose from collapsing.
