bergskiier Posted January 15, 2010 Share Posted January 15, 2010 I have a 97 Subaru Outback that originally came with a 2.5L and the rod bearing went bad on it. I have been told that a 95' 2.2L will fit in and plug in exactly into my 97' Outback. Can anyone verify this? I've had a few legacy's with the 2.2 and never had a single problem, good engine.
