Suberdave's EJ257/207/H/G/K hybrid build

So the time has come to build a new engine for my car, not because the old engine has anything wrong with it, but just becaues i want to build a new engine for my car with more torque...

 

Hopeing for a quick spooling high torque engine with this one...

 

Specs:

 

2005 EJ257 Block, crank, and rods

1997 STI EJ20K Heads (Pollished Intake Ports)

JE Deep Dish Pistons\

STI Head Gaskets / will give me 8.75:1-8.80:1 compression ratio

1997 STI EJ20K Cams

1996 EJ20G intake manifold (ported and painted) and wiring

1996 EJ20H Timing Belt Covers

2003 EJ207 VF37 Twin Scroll Turbo

1" Intake Spacers to allow front inlet turbo

Phenolic intake spacers

EJ20K Power Steering Pump

ViPEC standalone ECU (Currently in the car)

ARP Head Studs

Gates HP Timing Belt

Excedy Twin Disc clutch

Custom Built -6 AN Parrallel Fuel Rails

Sard Fuel Pressure Regulator

1988 GL-10 Wagon. currently has a 96 WRX EJ20G tuned at 293WHP 275 WTQ.

I wont be saleing the old engine, i will keep it in the gerage so if i blow this one up, i can have it back up and running in a few days...

 

i dont like to look at how much money i have into my car. i like to look at it like this... the whole car probably cost less than a used 04ish STi would cost me... and its paid off, and full coverage insurance cost me less than $80 a month...

what all was invloved in getting the orginal motor in I searched and checked your site but couldnt find a whole awful lot. I am putting my second ea82t in my car now but if it goes would like to make the switch. Anyway nice build and that thing shoot haul serious rump roast.
