idosubaru
I searched but didn't come up with much. Kendall Limited Slip Gear Oil was mentioned on here. Any others and where do you get that? I know I can get the additive stuff but i'd rather find something in a bottle and buy a few of those. In the past I got whatever a Subaru dealer in Atlanta used years ago but don't have any now and don't recall what it was. bratman18
All I ever did was use regular gear oil and then add a tube of the additive. It has always worked great for me!!
GeneralDisorder
VLSD or clutch type? VLSD's require no special fluid since the VC is sealed. Clutch type should have an additive added to the regular gear oil. GD
idosubaru
Standard EA82 rear LSD clutch type. I was hoping to avoid the additive, i realize it doesn't matter functionally i'm just being dumb about it.
idosubaru
I googled it and bought a few quarts of the Kendall stuff online. There was also some redline stuff, which I actually didn't see until after I bought the Kendall so I didn't even really consider it.

idosubaru
$5 or something, i don't really care so i don't pay much attention. my time is worth more than saving $2 so i'm sure you could find it cheaper. then shipping if you order online.
