eulogious
I'm trying to work out what an ST1100 is aside from the Honda Motorcycle. You should check out his build thread... I think you will then understand It's pretty sweet I must say
eulogious
As for the tach issue, I would check your grounds and clean them off if you haven't already. Aside from that I honestly don't know. That's for sure a brain tickler...
bigo1966
"Becuase your heater motor has more dispalcement than the engine?" That is pretty funny, i got a laugh out of it at 6:00 in the morning. Im guessing it has to do with a few parts not completing some circuit due to the engine swap. Quidam
Allright, I'll go ahead and type it:) It's because you have the tach wire hooked to the blower motor. I'll be out there in a couple of months for the beer. Doug
bheinen74
ah, the RPM of a fan blower motor I've always wondered what they spin at. Pretty sure mice would rather they not spin.
TomRhere
I would have to study the wiring diagram to be sure on this. But it sounds like you missed a circuit feed when you did the swap. Blower motor is back-feeding the "key on" circuit that feeds the tach. Atleast that's what I think is happening.
