I ran the engine for 5 minutes at 3000 rpm but that didn't remove it. I used a garden hose to try to flush the air out, but somehow still have air in. Mike104 Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 Make sure you are checking the fluid level in the radiator (rad cap off) with the car engine cold. DO NOT REMOVE THE RADIATOR CAP WITH THE ENGINE HOT!! YOU CAN SCALD YOURSELF!!! Some just check the overflow tank. What you are describing is a certain sign of low coolant level in the radiator.
