Scott in Bellingham Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 Ive got $700 to buy new offroad tires in the 33-34" range, would like your suggestions , its going on a T-cased Subbie with a little flex, Ive been lookin at the Swampers , what would you get the narrow one or the wide one, or maybe even a different tire altogether ???? what would be the avantage or disadvantage of wider or narrow?? , also these are bias LTB 34x10.50-15LT TSL 34x9.50-15LT TSL 33x12.50-15LT Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As far as cost goes, check out jc whitney, I just bought a set of four 29x8.5x15 ss tsl delivered to my porch for $371.00, that's the best price I could find anywhere. Schwabs wanted like 120 bucks a piece for them. Also, if you do get em from jcw they have promos and online coupons too so be thorough. I ordered mine with a 20% off online coupon. Good luck tire hunting! Ps, super swampers are made in the USA which I didn't know till I got em but it made me smile, I like buying domestic goods. I would totally steer away from the skinny bias ply swampers. Qman blew two beads at once one time out. I've sported some on my Subarus, and a set of 32/9.50s on my truck. I had nothing but problems with the beads keeping a seal on the truck.
