SUBARU3
Quick question: I have 2 master cylinders for Gen 1 vehicles. One is stamped 13/16 and the other 3/4. Both "look" identicle. Are these both interchangable on the car? Any profound reason why they would not each be able to be used interchangably? What would be inpacted by using 13/16 on a car with an original 3/4? Thanks!!!! Todd
Setright
Could be flow related. Like the 13/16 flows more fluid, and is designed to work with larger pistons. Just my thoughts, not facts..
ShawnW
I dont remember the answer but I think this is explained in the How to keep your Subaru alive book.
Qman
The difference is in bore size. I believe all the rest is the same. I'm sure you can use the larger one in place of the smaller one. It is only 1/16" difference in bore.
