samo
Optima batteries are AWESOME! Just picked up a Red Top for the Scooby - came out to $134 with a new set of post washers. More than I was hoping, but in the end, well worth it. Ripped out the old AC Delco (which never fit right to begin with) and slapped in the big Red Top. The only isse was the tie down - the threaded section of the posts weren't long enough, so I had to space it with some big bolts I had laying around, but no big deal. The usual morning *grind grind grind grind vr... vroom!* has been replaced with instantaneous starting. Also, the voltage drop from my foggies is all but gone. Well worth it! Yay! JWX
I bought one and it didn't do that much, but still a good battery none the less
NoahDL88
I got a red top too, i think that its great, when trying to put my engine in, i was able to crank the engine all day, and the battery was still good to go. i reccomend them if you can justify the expense. Snowman
Holy cow, my optima has saved my a$$ bigtime. As many of you know, Webers don't like the cold. I had to crank it for a total of a minute or so before it would start one time, and by the end of that, the battery was barely starting to get tired. My old battery, even when new, couldn't even come close to that.
