OREchipmunk78 Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 I have a 1987 GL with a 1.8L FI ea82 and I was wondering if it is possible to adjust the idle...Cause when I come to a stop light it idles real rough and then dies after a minute or 2....I just put new timing belts on it had the timing set got a new fuel pump and relay too... Twitch de la Brat Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 Check for vacuum leaks, these little engines are very vacuum dependent. A quick check over the engine bay while its running will tell you if you have a leak, it'll be given away by a tell tale whistle or hiss. Also perform a full tune up, plugs, wires, and air filter.
