edrach
Want to get out, close and personal with NW stage rallyists and racing excitement? Best way to watch and get into the action is to volunteer. No real experience needed, the organizers will show you everything you need to know. Check it out at http://www.olympusrally.com/volunteers/ Edited March 30, 2010 by edrach

NoahDL88
Is there cheap/free camping in the area? Looks like the state park, but that's definitely not free.
Qman
Not sure. You could probably sneek into the woods and find a spot.

edrach
From ORG: MAGIC WORDS.TRAVIS PASTRANA, KEN BLOCK, DAVE MIRRA, ANTIONE L'ESTAGE ... TO NAME A FEW OF THE DRIVERS THAT MAY BE COMPETING IN THE OLYMPUS RALLY IN APRIL IN WASHINGTON STATE. THIS IS ROUND 3 OF THE RALLY AMERICA NATIONAL RALLY SERIES. Not able to compete? Want the best seat in the house? Try volunteering, You might have some fun! NO experience, NO problem with most tasks, you'll be instructed and provided with any special equipment you may need. Although, if you happen to be a licensed amateur radio operator with mobile equipment, your skills and equipment would be greatly appreciated. And, you're in luck, because once again the Oregon Rally Group is assisting the Olympus Rally organizers with a stage crew of volunteers under the leadership of Gloria Hale, stage captain. You would think that after all these years that the fun would have worn off.well.. no, I still love messing around with anything related to the sport of rally. The Olympus Rally will be run on back roads, closed to the public, in the Grays Harbor area of Washington state. The ORG stage crew will need volunteers to take charge of two special stages on Saturday, April 24th, in an area above Tahola, WA, and two special stages on Sunday, April 25th, in an area west of Brooklyn, WA. Both days our stage crew rendezvous will be at reasonable hours, probably mid-morning. The positions available include timing controls for the starts and finishes of the stages, road marshals to watch side roads (right at action points on the rally course) and ham radio operators for starts and finishes and out o course at strategic points.
