subaru360
We have a purple 93 too. GF loves it and won't part with it. I just got a green 95 and did a jdm wrx swap on it. Try RS25.com Nasioc is mostly 02+ WRX stuff anymore.

Setright
Sweet ride! You'll want to get a complete rear subframe to make mounting a rear sway bar and disc brakes a simple task: Old fram out, new frame in.

Wouldnt this work? http://www.rallitek.com/swbarkitfr.html Or do I need a different rear subframe. I do want to do front and rear sway bars. I have looked at Rallitek stuff and Perrin Performance stuff. Its pricey!
subaru360
To put a rear swaybar on a car that didn't have one, you need lateral links with mounting points for a swaybar, swaybar mounting brackets, bushings, bushing clamps, endlinks and the bar. You do not have to change the subframe.
A DOG
I plan on getting it running and driving first. Replace clutch and get lightweight flywheel.(anybody know a good webiste to order them?) Replace front axles Im going with the KYB GR2 struts with 1.5in lowering springs all around. Replace Valve cover gasket and anything else leaking under the hood. THEN: Glossy Black paint job Gold or Silver 16in rims Projector headlights OBS hood with hood scoop and vents OBS front bumper or early version STI bumper RS Spoiler This is going to be the nicest subaru I have had yet. So im going to put a lot of time and money into it. i have always wanted and early version STI now I can build one.

If you can wrangle a few grand, why not just buy a damaged STI from a place like here or maybe somewhere closer to you that actually did the RA 1993 STIs, import it, and take all the bits off it and put it on your LHD? Plenty around over here - some for cheap, some for way too much. Have a look around. Of course that means shipping costs - which I hear can go into the thousands. Might be cheaper to take a trip over, find a junkyard with one in it, and strip it of all its handy parts Heres some examples: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Subaru/wrx/auction-277962623.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Subaru/wrx/auction-276890115.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Subaru/Wrx/auction-277068432.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Subaru/wrx/auction-277922682.htm Beautiful version of the STI - one of my favourite versions.
