Uberoo Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 How hard would it be to move the rear suspension on an 84 wagon back an inch or two for better clearance for tires?Even with a lift for the rear the limiting factor on tire size is the close proximity to the rear door.So I'm wondering how hard would it be to move the whole assembly back a bit. one eye Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 Climb under your car and look..................... if you move the diff and whole show back, you'll have to have a new Driveline made, I have no Idea how you would make the trailing arm longer, Just look and see what you come up with. Uberoo Posted March 22, 2010 Author Share Posted March 22, 2010 I don't have rubbing now,But im putting 31X10.50X15's on it.With the EA82 front suspension I have plenty of room to put them on the front,but the back is going to take some work. Then when you lift the rear only, the car will be raked forwards, so then you will have to lift the front. then you will have a 4" lift, and a better looking and performing Subaru.
