NoahDL88 Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 pressure plate to flywheel is closer to 12 foot pounds, the 155 could be in inch pounds. Goobysoobs Posted March 22, 2010 Author Share Posted March 22, 2010 Yeah stupid Hayes manual I was like wow that's pretty tight seeing as the flywheel bolts are only 55 ft-lb. we'll just do 20 to be safe seeing as we got it to 45 with no prob. Right now we've been slightly turning the flywheel while wiggling the trans to close the little 1/2" gap that's left and still doesn't seem to do anything. These Haynes manuals sure aren't reliable for the torque specs though.... couldn't fine any for the transaxel mount.... just said to tighten it.
