SoobieDoo
Are those the adjustable "cop style" spotlights? Nice ride, and we should wheel sometime when I'm up in Zig Zag next!
subimonster
no they are just daylighters. i had a buddy weld some light tabs next to the window to mount them. sounds fun, i have never wheeled with another subi before only jeeps and toyotas and i have out done a few of them. would be cool let me know when you are going to be in the area. Don_Quixpunch
What an interesting location for mounting driving lights. Must be nice not having shadows from them. Do they glare off of the hood?
RAugur33
Coolest Legacy Ever! I was thinking of mounting lights in the same spot, a'la JEEPS. Can you take a close up of your tabs? Did you fab up the push bar?
subimonster
i didnt do the stinger, i have a friend the is a fabricator and we steel plated the entire core support and front subframe to mount it to. the lights dont really glare on the hood as i have them pointed up a little bit and i did get the idea for the lights from my buddys wrangler. i will try to get pics of the light tabs soon. Gloyale
i am running 28x8.50 on stock 14 inch rims. i want to go to 33's. Even with lift, you can't clear 33's with stock struts and wheels. And if you could, you won't be able to turn 33's without low range. 30 is about as big as you can go on a legacy and even those you will have a hard time when the hills get steep. pamike
with the 28" tire and outback struts do the tires rub anywhere. my 90 legacy has 205/75-15's on it and they measure a little over 26" tall and they are very close to the rocker panels on the rear
