Qman
I have rock guards on my '86 Brat. I also have run the clear covers for the EA82 composites. I have a set of smoked covers for the '92 Legacy turbo wagon. The clear ones are great for all round use. The smoked ones look very nice with the dark black cherry paint but really suck at night. speedbump
I made a setof lens guards out of light gauge expanded metal and 1/4 rod and made room to mount them under the hood so when it pops,so do they.

Chris W.
My 93 Loyale had clear headlight covers when I bought it. Both of them have little starburst in them proving their worth! I haven't been able to locate an new ones however.... If yoou can find them, get them. Good luck, Chris
Snowman
Nobody that I know of sells new headlight covers, either plastic or metal. My parents looked high and low for a set for their old ea82 wagon, and all they could come up with was a set of stick-on sort-of covers that Continental had lying around. Skip
These are a very good idea. A chunk of ice off of an 18 wheeler did this last June
roxtar
put a small crack in my passenger side headlight cover the other day when i tried to blast through some snow in a parking lot so i could get into the space (turned out to be REALLy hard snow). GTS is the only place i've found that makes replacement ones here is the site

Skip
A major chunk came off of the guy's reefer. Entire car took some serious shots. Guess these chunks hit me at what?? 100 MPH?? Me going 50 as was he. I didn't know it ws toast till I got home. Don't know if the plastic (unless it's polycarb) would have saved it.
torxxx
I've got a few stars in my headlights, but never had one break. I took clear silicone and filled in the pinhole from one of the stars and it stopped it from blowing bulbs. I'd like to get ahold of light blue tinted covers.. That'd be sweeT! PHATBRAT
No one makes them for a BRAT I know, JC Whitney used to list them but it was a misprint. I made some for my BRAT but one eventually was broken and I never made another set.
Turbone
I can still find the mesh type for square lights.
junkyardgabe
if you can find a set for a monte SS they are the same exact as the brat one's and will fit any EA81
PHATBRAT
I believe the original headlight covers in question were plastic ones, not the wire mesh. They do not make them for a BRAT. Are you telling me the plastic ones for a monte SS will fit a BRAT????? If so, what year SS?
