The Dude Abides
Some things i would change but it looks like they did a nice job. It just needs a teenage mutant ninja turtle sticker on the back to complete the job. Otherwise great job.
lkindred
very nice, but I agree - with that green - should have teenage mutant ninja turtle stickers on it.
The Beast I Drive
Reminds me of my favorite inspirational quote: "Lambo doors- so overplayed even Lambos don't have them" -Bill
TheLoyale
I'm not a fan of the scissor doors nor the hood scoop. The color is cool, but not for the interior. But to each their own. Its a nice job though. Still running the EA81?
Twitch de la Brat
"Cough" "Cough cough" +1 It looks like they went all "Fast and Furious" with it. I don't mind the green and black color scheme, but the hood scoops? And Lambo doors? And why did they put a steel plate to mount in the stereo? and not paint it? Flowmastered87GL
if it had normal doors and a WRX hood scoop, then I'd hit it
ivantruckman
needs a 6 inch lift, could rock crawl with the gull wing doors open ?
TomRhere
+1 It looks like they went all "Fast and Furious" with it. I don't mind the green and black color scheme, but the hood scoops? And Lambo doors? And why did they put a steel plate to mount in the stereo? and not paint it? Twitch Thinking I could live with the hood scoops, but NOT the doors. Ruined it... Radio plate looks like brushed aluminum or brushed stainless steel. Not a real fan of that Green either, but the look of the body is real nice otherwise, sans the Lambo doors. bheinen74
The license plate is cool. kinda wish my state could allow that.
TheLoyale
Iowa doesn't allow personalized plates? Huh...:-\
The Beast I Drive
its not just a personalized plate, its an antique/collector vehicle plate, meaning that Brat is exempt from practically everything. -Bill
TheLoyale
Oh its a collector plate, we have those. Costs enough though.. But the deal with those are, you can only put so many miles onto the vehicle.
Txakura
I can handle the hood, exterior and upholstery, not the floor mat's lighter green. The doors are... really odd on that. I do like seeing what can be done and wouldn't knock the guy for something that comes down to taste. Not entirely my thing, but if he did all the work himself, it's cool to see it. It's definitely one of a kind.
RAugur33
I like it. Notice the pinstripes, very nice. I'll bet he has $10,000 into that.
TheLoyale
I agree, I'm not gonna knock this guys ride. Its his and his taste, People say my car is dumb. To each their own.
Rust
Looks great for a CT car. The CT antique plate limmits the ammount of driving you can do with the car. Looks like he put a lot of work into it.
swampbrat
not exactly what I would do but -nice job! Very cool to see a clean brat instead of a low budget rusty hulk like mine have been.
mcbrat
The license plate is cool.kinda wish my state could allow that. Iowa doesn't allow personalized plates? Huh...:-\ yeah, Iowa has personalized plates, and starting in 2009, you can register as an antique without the to/from shows only restriction for displaying the plate.... got to be 25+ years old to qualify. you can also get limited use plates.... http://www.iowadot.gov/time21/vehicle_reg.html
Durania
Too bad they riced out the interior. That faux hood scoop is just about awful. Looks like someone really wanted a tricked out BRAT.
monstaru
it looks like the jolly green giant puked on a brat....would I drive it, hell ya.just because , faux hoodscoops or not... i was just waiting for someone to do lambo doors..... :lol:cheers, brain
bheinen74
wow, the green giant, and now, if you check ebay is a Smurf Brat. weird stuff happening i think. I tend to like original colors on cars, factory original that is.
MilesFox
I wouldn't call it a restoration. mini-truck, i guess. a factory resto would bring more collector value for the effort into the car. it better have an ej with this hero in a half-shell(turtle shell hi-topper? )
TheLoyale
Now that would complete the look, a Brat topper painted up like a turtle shell! Haha.. Now whats this of a Smurf Brat? Holy smurfers! Are people on crack?
