gijoe985
Just curious which engines/cars I can look to for compatible parts. I've got a 2001 outback with a 2.5. I broke the pulley for the AC unit. I'd like to find a junkyard one or look online. I just want to know which cars I can look at and what years. For instance, would a late 90's one work? I've got a 91 2.2 legacy and they look darned near the same, but there'd need to be modifications, which I'd rather not do. Thanks! (Any suggestions as to where I could look would be appreciated too)
Mike104
Start here for used parts availability nationwide: http://www.car-part.com/ To find interchange info go here: http://opposedforces.com/parts/ Pick your car and once you find the Part number click on it and it will display where else that part is used. mdjdc
Send me a picture of the pulley mdjdc1@gmail.com . I am pretty sure I have one in my parts storage that I can get to you and you can fix your AC before it gets too hot. Mike
GeneralDisorder
You probably broke the $6 plastic tensioner nut didn't you? Get a new one from the dealer for the low price of $6 and some change. Those always break. GD
