Rossta86
Well i figured since everyone else is posting the sounds/videos of their subaru's exhaust i would post pictures of my new exhuast due to the lack of a digital video camera. The pipe is from the flang right under the transmission to a purple hornie muffler dumping out right before the drivers side rear tire. The muffler is the same as the 2 that subarubrat has on his brat. After welding it all up i painted it Barbecue black (high temp paint for grills). You can't see it but there is a rubber hanger on the other side of the muffler to keep it up there and solid. http://usmb.net/gallery/Exhaust - thats the link. What do u think? Snowman
Dude, that is a seriously sweet brat you've got there. What did the new exhaust do for power?

subarubrat
Rossta, it keeps looking better! Is your rear bumper still bent up like that? I may very well have one to give you. If you want to hook up for some off roading let me know, we are less than an hour away from each other. There is a gravel pit in Fredericksburg that is pretty nice to play in. I need to pull and paint my purple hornies when it comes back from the body shop. In one year the paint has nearly fallen off half the thing and with the road salt it rusted over with a quickness. Nice sounding muffler but they could have powdercoated it or used a better paint.
Rossta86
Thanks for all the compliments. I'm not sure a bout the power, I have no cat on it so it could be making it slower because of the loss of back pressure, but my weber is coming in next week so i should be able to tune it accordingly. xforxlifex - I wish where i live was full of subaru's too, i have only seen 4 other brats in person besides mine. Most of them Rusted out. Subarubrat, Yea i still have that nasty looking bumper on there. I was thinking about trying to do something like yours, but if you have one for sale then i'm definelty interested. That would be sweet to meet up, i keep trying to get all my "jeep friends" to go but they seem to be more talk than anything. They all claim to like my brat though. When i painted my purple hornie, i only sanded the paint enough so it wasn't glossy. When i started painting it the purple paint would bubble up come off, made a mess in all the black paint though. subarubrat
See that is what pissed me off so bad. There is no way that they could release that part and not know that the paint bubbles off on the first use. That has to be deliberate. I am stripping mine in all the rusty and bubbly areas. I will PM you about the bumper.
