... And toasted my clutch, as usual  but had some fun, almost got sideways in a bad way 3 times  my rig was not performing at its peak tonight, but it did ok for a beat wheeler that has had no real maintenance other than engine swaps and exhaust for the last 3 years... Didn't get hardly any pics, my buddy got a lot of videos but I dont have them... This was the highlight of the night for me

Front wheel is about 2 1/2' off the ground, rear passenger wheel is off the ground as well... Good times

Planning on going back out with some other guys on Sunday, but I think I'll have to take the Yota, the clutch is TOAST on the Beast, and I think I broke a motor mount and a rear axle, but I will know for sure when I run a damage assesment in the morning.

Yeah, that's just a little off-camber Bill !!! :headbang:

Where's this place at???

This place is about 10 minutes east of Sunnyside, right on the edge of Yakima County. Its not that big a spot, but it has some cool stuff, some really hard stuff and a lot of fun to play around on stuff. Its all sand and trees, with some rocks, and in the summer there is water flowing through it

A lift would definitely help in the tougher areas, but there is plenty of spots that your non-lifted rigs would have fun.

Went back out today with my buddies and my yota, and I must say I know why all the old schoolers dropped sube wheelin and went to toyotas :-\

Also got an isuzu rodeo rear axle for the beast today  disc brakes, 4.10 gears, and possibly a locker... I'm gonna build my 4.11 AWD D/R trans and run the rodeo axle in the rear with a 4-link, won't have to worry about breaking axles any more then!

Planning on goin tomorrow between 12 and 2pm, anyone who's interested can meet at my house.

Went back to our little spot today around 2, it was me and my Toyota, my brother in his Yota, my buddy Dereck in his Chevy, and Andy in his Brat. It was a pretty fun day, I am fully impressed with my toyota, and the Brat did really well. For his first time wheelin my brother did really good too. Both me and Dereck blew out a tire on a stump, luckily I brought spares and jacks  Andy's Hakkipalata snow tires were pretty awesome in the powdery sand, and my brother's Toyo A/T's kicked rump roast in the sand. I'll have pics and vids up later tonight

call that Fun sounds like alot of work ahead of you , Yes this is why people move onto other vehicle choices, on the Isuzu axle you can just run smaller tires up front to make up for the ratio difference, Ill help with the math if needed ,with a 4.10 rear and a 2.9 front if you ran 31s on the rear you would run 29.5 on the front, or 32.6 on the rear with 31s on the front, or 33s on the rear with 31.4 on the front , you can get it close enough for a wheeler , even running some new and some wore out tires you can come up with a combo that will work, if your spinnin most the time it will work just fine , see ya in July at the Walker axle breakin Run

Great stuff today

That was lots of fun, im amazed at how well my Brat does at stock height. Cant wait to see how it does with more clearance

And i cant wait to see the beast with a solid rear axel. if you start getting too far ahead on the trails i might have to go that route too
