AussieIan
My 91 Liberty (Aussie Legacy) is showing the Check engine light sometimes shortly after starting. I decided to read the ECU, was able to find the green plug but not the black plug. Are these in a different spot in the Australian cars. SevenSisters
As I recall, the black and green connectors are close together. Mine were covered with electrical tape and not easy to see. I doubt if yours is in a different place.
Setright
They are definitely up there, Ian. They may be rolled into other parts of the wiring harness. Mine were a real pain to find the first time too. They weren't taped over. Remove the plastic panel below the steering column, five screws I think, it will allow more light in, and get you a better view of all the spaghetti
AussieIan
AHA, found it it was near the transmission tunnel with the yellow diagnostic plug. I think my troubles have just started I have 35, 11 and 12 flashing. I've reset the ECU so I'll see what remains. Thanks Ian:(
Legacy777
More then likely, codes 11 & 12 are bogus, and all you have issues with is the CPV solenoid. If that's the case, it's not a big deal, and can be replaced "relatively" easily.
AussieIan
Thanks Josh, Where is the CPV the Haynes manual says near the throttle body, the only thing I can spot is the IAC.?
Legacy777
here's pics of a lot of various sensors, including the cpv http://www.main.experiencetherave.com:8080/subaru/images/injectors
AussieIan
Thanks Josh found it in the cold light of day. Why are the bits you have to replace always in the most difficult spots.
