SubieDaddy80
Hey everyone just a quick question for the guys who have done WCCS before and I know there are many of you. This year will be my first WCCS event and I would love to bring my wife and little girl. I just want to know if this is an event where they would be comfortable and safe? Any concerns with bringing my little one? I have gone to this type of event before for another type of auto event(VW's) and it turned out to just be a booze fest with people running around causing problems the whole weekend and really wasnt a whole lot of fun. I would love to make this a tradition with my family and do WCCS every year! Any info would be great everyone! Thanks! Chad
northguy
Can't speak for every show, but the one I was at had two different areas - 1 family side, and one for the young and dumb (boy that didn't come out very politically correct did it?).
TheSubaruJunkie
The entire show is very family friendly. You will see hundreds of other wives & little ones.

Flowmastered87GL
I would say its family safe, during the day its pretty quiet, as long as you camp on the family at night, it wont be crazy. I myself will be camping on the Canadian end
JRD
I got a typical nubie question. What is WCCS?
NoahDL88
West Coast Subaru Show Its usually in Northern Oregon or Washington state, so West coast is kinda a misnomer, but the PNW does have the largest concentration of Subie nuts, so it works out
TLRWLSN
so if I go...this will be my first time going...I began talking to my gf about it and how we should both go...Of course her first response was, is there going to be food there? lol Is there? like food vendors? Because of lack of time and school starting right around that time, we might consider air travel...any advice? Could we arrive in seattle and get a ride to it or whats a good idea? thanks in advance:) -Tyler Edited May 12, 2010 by TLRWLSN
TLRWLSN
just mapquested it...not as far as I thought...only would take twelve hours, my grandma lives in alturas, so that would be a nice stop and rest...Im really excited now...We just might take my wagon up there...not sure yet (never have taken it far distances, barely taken it on freeway :-\ ) If thats out of the question, we'll take my gf's little nissan. we'll see... NoahDL88
Yes, there will most likely be food vendors, and it will be near a small town, so there will be plenty of grocery stores and restaurants. And farmers markets
