2manetoys
Hi All! Just found USMB and Scoobytruck.com. Any fellow Subaru Lovers in Indiana? And just recently bought an 85 Brat. Have previously owned and 81 (or 82) GLF (first Soobie), 80 GL Convertible (wish I still had that one), 88 & 92 Loyale 4wd wagons. I hope to add a 05 or 06 Baja to the list in a couple of years Here's My Brat: Edited May 21, 2010 by 2manetoys replaced broken picture link

2manetoys
Thanks for the welcome. Been cruising the boards looking at some of the Impressive info out there and trying to decide whether to go restore or enjoy on my Brat. I'm torn between keeping it original EA 81 I think and the love of the EJ22 5 spd 4wd that I had in my 2 loyale wagons. Decisions, decisions. SubieDaddy80
My honest opinion, Brats are becoming way too rare to keep chopping and cutting them up. They are a piece of Subaru history. Any real Subaru nut would agree. It was fine when there were plenty of them. I would just hate to see a great example like yours get chopped up. If you did chop it up and lift it, after a few years of wheelin and rollin it would probably get scrapped because its beyond saving. So my advice would be to restore it and keep it for many many years. You'll be much happier that way and glad you did in the end! Just my thought though Thanks for the welcome.
