84gl
First off its been sitting for about ten years so we cleaned the tank out changed the fuel pump and fliters new battery and so on still no go it has fire is in time has fuel to the fuel rail 13.08 volts on both pins on the injectors but no run oh the led light is not flashing on the ecm i can't figure out why but the fuel pump still cycles with the ing. switch on could the ecm be bad if so what years will interchange? 85,86 turbo maybe
naru
Got spark but no injection, correct? Make sure there is a grey shielded wire attached to coil -. This wire supplies ign. pulse info to the ecm.No wire,no run. After ten years, injectors may simply be stuck. Does the injector voltage pulse on one side as the engine is cranked? Almost sounds like the ECM is unpowered except for the FP action. Might want to check for unswitched power on ECM pin 26(red) and switched power on pin 24 (white/black). Look for a corroded ground too. Doubtful the ECM is bad. 83 turbo ecm would be the only swap and IIRC even they have minor differences. Got compression? Turbone
Pull the snorkus off the throttle body and dump a little gas in it. See if it wants to fire. If it does, then the inj or fuel lines could be plugged.
84gl
it runs when gas is dumped in but i think we figured it out nasty plugs at the injectors now it sounds like its running on 2 cyl. when i crank it thanks
coxy
Replace the original stupid ND plugs on the injectors with the later Bosch GM style ones with the easy to remove press clip retention system,no tools required for removal and no more corroded poor connections is the best solution.
