Roger Stokes
I`m replaceing all the seals befor I put the engine back in the car. I understand there is a O ring with the seal on the oil pump shaft. Can the O ring be replaced from the from the seal side? or does the shaft have to be pulled from the inside, oil pan? If so is it nessary to replace? I`m haveing my Nissan mec. change everything out for me I`m just getting all the information befor I order all the parts. It`s a 2001 forester. Mike104
Its the blue O-ring in this picture. Need to remove the Oil Pump first. Will make it easier to change the front crankshaft seal too.
