soobme
Are the front brakes on an EA82 any bigger or better than on an EA81? Can U use EA82 front steering knuckles on an EA81? When U do the rear disk conversion on an EA81, what all do U need to do? (ie: master cyl. , lines, proporshining valve, ect.) EA81 brakes.....I don't like 'em! I miss my 4 wheel discs! Subadoom
The convertion to rear disk is not that hard. They show you what to do in the Ultimate Subaru Repair Manual. Matt could probably be a bit more helpfull because he did his. -Robert
Qman
The brakes are slightly bigger on the EA82's. Unfortunately, you can not use them on an EA81 without modding in the control arm. Rear discs have been covered many, many times. Backing plates, calipers, and rotor/hubs. It is a simple bolt on that doesn't require any other changes.
