Scott in Bellingham
Have a EA82 with a weber, can I make it run without the ECU trying to simplify the wiring Edited June 10, 2010 by Scott in Bellingham title
WoodsWagon
Yeah, if you already removed the feedback carb and replaced it with a weber, then the computer is doing nothing anyway. I belive the fuel pump controller is a separate module from the ECU, it was on the non-feedback EA82's. Put an old sparkplug in the bung where the 02 sensor was. GeneralDisorder
The EA82 feedback computer directly controls the fuel pump relay - they do not have a seperate FPCU like the EA81 feedback system. You will have to rewire that either directly to power or through a fuel pump control unit like the non-feedback's or EA81's (EA81 feedback FPCU is the easy choice since it does not control choke power). SoobieDoo
Scott, we should work on this together. I've got an extra ECU as well, and need to find that relay to get proper EJ pump control.
