oskar_subaru
ok so next week in north iceland we have a 5 day festival translated roughly as "cardays" i´ve been looking forward to this the whole year but now i have a problem my carb has issues to say the least, sometimes it is compleatly normal, drives like new sometimes it refuses to idle, it´s just like on/off it wont idle for 2 minutes and then starts idleing again sometimes it feels like the low speed needle stops working, it will only run on idle or full throttle. and now today it has been lacking all top end power and started over flooding the engine with the only way to get it started again was a pull-start please if you have ANY idea please share
NoahDL88
Have you cleaned the carb? Perhaps a good cleaning and zeroing all the jet settings and moving them to 50% (count the number of turns from all the way in to all the way out) Intermittent issues could be ignition related as well, make sure your distributor is adjusted correctly and tight. May be time for a Weber carburetor if money allows.
GeneralDisorder
Check for a short to the idle-cut solenoid (anti-deisel solenoid) on the front of the carb. The other symptoms sound like there could be issues with the secondary vacuum actuator or crap floating in and out of the main jets in the bowl.
