fupkid
My friend and i just picked up a complete 77 4x4 wagon with the manual trans. We got it for $100 bucks. The car has not been started or moved for about 15 years. It was parked because of a exhaust leak.We changed all the fluids. We ran a piece of fuel line off the inlet of the fuel pump and stuck it in a cup full of gas. Primed the fuel line and she fired right up and idled great. We are haveing problums getting fuel from the tank to the motor.Im sure the fuel lines are plugged. And i bet the tank is shot. The tank looks like a pita to get off.I think we decided on putting a fuel cell in the trunk and just running a new line. danrenfroe2016
I just took mine out of the 78 brat for making a trailer.. Nte that the diff has to be removed afaik. That was actually easy except for the rusted axle splines that took sever days to get off. -daniel
