danbennett2u
Need some more help here, on our 95 Impreza, we have noticed that when the car idles at a stop light that the AC compressor stops and the fan starts blowing warm air. Is there a sensor that is causing this to cut out?
Rooster2
Suspect you are low on refrigerant.
SubieDaddy80
Agree with Rooster. This happened to me in another vehicle of mine. When the RPMs come down your refringerant isnt being processed through as fast because the compressor pulley isnt moving as fast. Go get it recharged and you should be good to go. 987687
You can recharge it yourself. The refrigerant on my 96 was very low and my AC worked like crap both driving and stopped. I got a r134a recharge bottle from napa, filled up the system, and now it blows nice and cold even when stopped!
